Consequently, this servo provides a shorter, firmer 1-2 shift and with an increased apply area, provides the 2-4 band greater torque capacity in second gear only. I do this kit in things from trucks to high performance stuff to barking the tires to just nice crisp shifts so you will be happy with it If you cant do it any good transmission shop should do it for 200 or so but like I said I can help you in any way needed. it also makes lock up non pulse width modualated which is nice no over heating the trans any more around 45 mph when going in and out of lock up and slipping the convertor. I used in in my 2007 tahoe and every shift even over drive is nice and crisp but not abusive at all. If your mechanically inclined you can do it but do have to drop the valve body which in turn gives you 6 loose check balls but easy to go back. I build transmissions for a living and if you want the shift faster and crisp then go with the transgo sk 4l60e shift kit it is around 35 bucks and u can taylor the shifts how you want them and can make it hit good without a corvette servo.
